Margarita Akterskaia

Founder of Career Bootcamp

I did my PhD in Mechanical/Aerospace engineering in Germany. I was always fascinated by the incredible world of Machine Learning and when arrived to the US I decided to focus on this area. As part of it I prepared myself for technical interviews. I got lots of advises from women community and decided to return back. I organized a bootcamp to prepare for technical interviews with more than 100 women attendees.

My vision is to support women after career gap, job transition and just help those who want to stay fit and be ready for career growth. There are lots of free materials, but I see a value in being united into community, share support, network and passion.

Iryna Brechko

Web Developer at Career Bootcamp

I began my career as a web designer and pixel artist at first, and then as a web developer, before moving on to freelance.

I graduated from National Technical University (Ukraine) with a master's degree in Computer Science. In 2012 I moved to the United States as a H4 visa holder and after that I was no longer working in the tech industry.

I finished Harvard Online CS50 Course and by the end was confident enough to make a final project (collection of educational resources for kids) which helped me to put my feet on track of continuing my journey to become a software engineer.
